About the LPN to RN Bridge Program
Students working as LPNs can fast-track their careers with the LPN to RN Bridge Program at CEI. Once you complete the program and pass your final exams, you will have the credentials to work in a variety of medical settings.
RNs play a critical role in the healthcare system. They are on the front lines and are often the people patients and their family members turn to first with questions. Doctors depend on RNs to administer important care and alert them to patients’ changing conditions. The best RNs are good with people, are self-starters, and are problem solvers. They also have a heart to help others.
As RNs get more experience, they may have opportunities to develop treatment plans for patients and take on leadership roles within their organizations. RN certification also aligns with furthering education for completion of an advanced degree required for a Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Anesthetist.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
The LPN to RN Bridge program at CEI is designed to help you feel fully confident to work as a nurse. Instructors present technical information and support students in developing more nuanced skills, such as how to communicate with patients’ loved ones and how to effectively relay information to colleagues. The program ends with 12-15 weeks of shadowing nurses in the field.
