Geri Johnson

Geri Johnson was raised in Missoula Montana. She has called Idaho Falls her home since moving here in 1989. Her pride and joy is her three children and seven grandchildren who all live locally. She began her medical career as an EMT while residing in a rural Wyoming community. This experience sparked an interest in becoming a nurse.

She received her certification as an LPN while attending Eastern Idaho Technical College. Three years after graduating as an LPN, she received her RN degree from Excelsior College. She has had a fulfilling career over the last 28 plus years working in various specialties; including Hospice Care, Med-Surg, Preop/PACU, Infusion and Oncology.

After years of experience in bedside nursing, Geri would like to pay it forward by passing her knowledge onto the next generation of healthcare  providers. She considers it a privilege to have an impact on those students who are just beginning their journey in the  medical field.
