CNA Instructor
Tina Carlson
Tina Carlson has been proud to call Eastern Idaho her home for the majority of her life. She grew up in St. Anthony and now resides in the Rigby area. Tina and her husband, Kelly, have 3 sons, 2 daughters, and 3 grandsons. She has over 34 years of healthcare experience, first as a CNA, then LPN and eventually an RN.
Tina graduated with her Associates of Science in Nursing from Eastern Idaho Technical College (EITC), now CEI, in the second class to bridge from LPN to RN. Over the years Tina has worked in a variety of workplaces such as Home Health and Hospice agencies, Hospitals, Mental Health, and Dialysis.
The bulk of her career has been with Hospice and she continues to have a deep compassion for the terminally ill and their families. Along with her duties as a CNA instructor at the Idaho Healthcare Institute, she is teaming with CEI on a free Hospice Education class for the community.
